SW-MOTECH LEH.07.039.111.B Handlebar Riser For BMW R1200GS, F800GSA

SW-MOTECH’s Provides a more upright, comfortable riding position by raising the original 1-1/8″ (28mm) diameter tubular handlebar by 30mm (1.2″). No need to replace your handlebars – simply remove the original top clamp, place the riser between the handlebar and original bottom clamp, and reinstall top clamp using included hardware. Also perfect for use with oversize handlebars (ProTaper, Magura, etc.).

For use with original top clamp or optional matching SW-MOTECH top clamp (sold separately). No change of control cables, wiring, or hoses is required for most motorcycles however, the installer should always checking for adequate cable/wiring/hose slack during installation. Black.

For use with original 1-1/8″ (28mm) diameter handlebars. Package includes four M8x60x1.25 hexagon socket head replacement screws.

The 30mm rise is in line with the original handlebar mounts, which are slightly angled toward the rear of the rider. This provides a slight rearward repositioning of the handlebar in addition to raising the handlebar.

May be used without modification on R1200GS or R1200GS Adventure motorcycles WITHOUT optional OEM fog lights or heated grips with handlebar clamp-mounted control switch. Use of this riser with optional OEM fog lights or heated grips requires relocation of this switch or purchase of four special screws with internal M5 thread (12mm deep). These special M8x65 screws with 12mm-deep M5 thread in the head are pictured on this webpage and are available directly from Touratech (their part number 040-0272) for about $14.00 per screw. These replace the original M8x30x1.25 screws in the handlebar mounts
